Your money is safe
Before anyone joins a Kameti circle — public or private — they pass the same checks you'd go through opening a bank account. Government ID. A selfie. Bank account ownership. Only then can they save alongside you.

Members link their own bank account via Open Banking — so we know the money comes from them.
